DIY Milkshake

I am a big foodie. I absolutely love food. So, I think it's pretty funny when I haven't even done a food DIY yet... Until now.

I tried to find the simplest food DIY out there and I didn't have to look very far. I chose a DIY that was simple, delicious, and is good in the summer. Can you guess what it is?

Before I let you guess, let's get started:
You will need: a cup, ice cream (you can choose any flavor-- I personally really like anything mint, so I went with this one), and milk.
Scoop 4-7 heaping spoonfuls of ice cream into your cup.
Then, decide how thick you want it to be.
For a thick milkshake, add a little milk. For a thinner milkshake, add more milk.
Stir them together. You can mix it together with a blender, fancy milkshake machine, Magic Bullet, or just a spoon.
Voila! You have a fabulous milkshake.

There you go! I hope you can try this one out soon. I sure had fun making it. Don't forget to check back everyday for a new DIY and every Sunday for a new Week in DIY. Have a fantastic day!

DIY Wire Ring

When I think of wire rings, I think of the regular silver or gold colored wire that is bent into the shape of your choice. Since that is over-done, I decided to change it up a little bit. I added some embroidery floss (I have so much of it I just had to use it).

So, let's get started:
You will need: florist wire, embroidery floss, scissors, glue, and a ruler (not shown).
Cut a foot long piece of wire and fold in half.
Apply some glue to the tip of the wire.
Wrap the embroidery floss around the glue.
Once you get your desired length, cut off the ends and use some clear nail polish to solidify the ends.
Then wear your ring around whenever you want.

Don't forget to check back everyday for a new DIY and every Sunday for a week in DIY. Have a fantastic day!

Week in DIY: July 28th

Well, it has been a very exciting week in the DIY world. I have seen a whole bunch of amazing DIYs that I absolutely would love to try. Here are a few of my favorites:
Check out this amazing cake pop and stand DIY on Sugar & Cloth. It will inspire you to go and make a cake pop (or 100. That's cool, too)
This amazing polka dot scarf DIY is one I will be trying out soon. Head to The Girl Who Makes and give it a try for yourself.
This card holder from The Folding Chair is pretty amazing. I may not have any business cards, but I will attempt to use this somehow.

I kinda love these amazing DIY coasters from A Fabulous Fete. I also did a DIY on them, so check that out here.
Lovely Indeed has this awesome DIY ombre watercolor shoes. They are really simple and fun. I absolutely love them.

So, I know I didn't post yesterday. But I am working on a new DIY (which should be up tomorrow). Don't forget to check back every Sunday for a week in DIY. I also post a DIY everyday, so be sure to check back. Have a good day!
